consider，think，believe，count，deem，reckon，regard，hold这些动词均含有“认为”之意:

consider指经过考虑和观察后得出的结论。

eg. I consider the world, this Earth, to be like a school and our life the classrooms.

我认为这个世界，这个地球，就像一个学校和我们人生的教室。

 

think普通用词，指按照自己的意见提出看法。

eg. You'll be hoodooed if you think Harris is dead. 

如果你认为哈里斯已经死了，那你就要倒大霉了。

 

believe通常指根据一定的证据，经思考后而认为属实。

eg. Physicalists believe there are bodies but no souls.

而物理主义者认为,肉体存在而灵魂不存在

 

count指作出判断后而得出的看法等。

eg. I count myself lucky to have known him.  

和他相识，我觉得很幸运

 

deem正式用词，常用于法律、文学，强调作判断而不是思考。

eg. She deemed it prudent not to say anything. 

她认为什么都不说是明智的

 

reckon指对人或事作全面“权衡”，把各方面意见考虑进去后得出结论。

eg. I reckon (that) I'm going to get that job. 

我认为我会得到那份工作

 

regard侧重凭外表或表面现象作判断。多强调观点。

eg. He regards himself as a patriot. 

他自认为是个爱国者

 

hold感觉较为保守，常在非正式场合使用，多强调观点。

eg. I still hold him responsible for the death of my son.  

我依然认为他应为我儿子的死负责。
